Degrees: anabin

Your university must be rated H+ and your degree listed as "entspricht" or "gleichwertig". If the university is rated H+/- or is missing, you need a ZAB Statement of Comparability. The rating of Indian 3-year bachelor degrees could not be checked (anabin needs individual queries); check yours.

ZAB Statement of Comparability

• Fee €200 for the first application, €100 for each further one. Normally about 3 months, target of 2 weeks for Blue Card cases, 2 months in the fast-track procedure.
• For vocational qualifications, the ZAB "DAB statement" costs €150.

Bodies in Berlin

• IHK-type occupations: IHK FOSA in Nuremberg (not IHK Berlin). Fee €100 to €600, typically €350 to €450; 3 months, 2 months in fast-track.
• Crafts: Handwerkskammer Berlin.
• Health professions: Landesprüfungsamt für Gesundheitsberufe; doctors: LAGeSo. Fees of the Berlin state bodies: not verified.
